Thanks for the best wishes.
Shelley - thanks and best of luck with yours. I doubt you need it!
Jackie - it was straight contemporary but with the freedom to be even more hot and steamy than Blaze. I really let it fly!
Kaye - yeah, I figure even if mine gets picked up it's nowhere near the final version. Oh how fun to HAVE to do edits!Kaily Harthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05986029808181756915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5387503191764027020.post-52777227725760912212010-02-10T12:22:37.329-05:002010-02-10T12:22:37.329-05:00Congrats, Kaily! I wrote it quick, a week or so and first draft was done. But it went through several edits and rewrites to get it ready for submission. It releases at RRP on May 20. Yeah, it went through a few more edits with an RRP editor too!Kaye Manrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03639814610213100626noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5387503191764027020.post-92209220444071886852010-02-09T20:46:22.418-05:002010-02-09T20:46:22.418-05:00Hey great, Kaily! I think it takes a special writer to do a good job.

Good luck with your sub. It feels great hitting send - I'm almost at that stage. Tomorrow should do the trick. :)Shelley Munrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03090469550227550713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5387503191764027020.post-74803235039291698942010-02-08T23:32:27.950-05:002010-02-08T23:32:27.950-05:00So you made a detour, but wasn't it fun? Me? You must have me confused with someone else LOL! It was a pretty powerful feeling to set the goal and meet it.
Cari - Yes! I know exactly what you mean. It is the instant gratification. I keep looking at the calendar figuring when I can write the next one. As Helen said, the full length stories can become tedious sometimes.Kaily Harthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05986029808181756915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5387503191764027020.post-18739511901541436832010-02-08T20:58:46.947-05:002010-02-08T20:58:46.947-05:00Woohoo for you, Kaily! They're addictive...gotta love the instant gratification of a complete story in a short amount of time. ;) Fingers crossed for you that you hear good news soon!Cari Quinnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06581235338272282124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5387503191764027020.post-10463588380720559042010-02-08T18:05:32.089-05:002010-02-08T18:05:32.089-05:00OMG! I like shorts -- they're quick -- but you really need the ultimate plotline and they are few and far between. Novels, to me, can get tedious. Novellas are just right!Helen Hardthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06820047167673628170noreply@blogger.com
