I always intended to write in this sub-genre, but wanted to start with something that didn't require quite as much world-building :). My paranormal books are still grounded very much in the contemporary world and suit my voice perfectly I think.

I don't think my writing has changed much, other than perhaps having a bit more of a suspense feel to it as secrets are revealed ;). AND, there's a bit more leway to play around with the 'alphaness' of the males. That's very fun. There's no vampires, weres or other 'traditional' paranormal entities either. They're all my own! Also, I haven't left contemporary behind. I intend to write both moving forward.Kaily Harthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05986029808181756915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5387503191764027020.post-15862860829110528902012-03-26T19:25:33.729-04:002012-03-26T19:25:33.729-04:00How's the change from contemporary romance to ...How's the change from contemporary romance to Paranormal? Has it changed your writing at all? Mmmm, that's a tough one simply because I think my writing and schedule has developed right along with the books but I'm not sure it's because I'm published. I've learned an incredible amount about the craft of writing and about the business of writing and continue to do so. I think the thing that's changed is looking at writing as a job, a career, rather then something simply for enjoyment. I love to write. I wouldn't do it if it didn't consume me, but I now have publishers to satisfy, I have obligations to my agent. And I have a career path to now focus on. Hope that answers it :)!Kaily Harthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05986029808181756915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5387503191764027020.post-62819948213405197222012-03-26T15:41:20.171-04:002012-03-26T15:41:20.171-04:00Hi, Kaily!
